Black Coffee has been featured in L’Officiel Ibiza and talked about his lifelong passion for fashion. He recalls his first memory of seeing clothes.
“We were raised by our grandmother in a small town and my mother, who lived in Durban, a big city, used to send us clothes. They were mostly different from all the clothes everyone in the neighbourhood was wearing so we always looked different. It grew my confidence in learning and owning that difference. Fashion plays a big role in helping people to understand and see their worth. RIP to Virgil Abloh.”
