Tyga released a new song and music video called “Ay Caramba” at the beginning of last month. He received criticism for the film’s use of harsh stereotypes of Mexicans and ultimately deleted the offending video after issuing an apology.
He hopes to put that in the past tonight with the release of a brand-new song. For “Sunshine,” he enlists the help of Jhene Aiko and the late Pop Smoke. Pop and Tyga previously worked together on the song “West Coast Sh*t” from Pop’s outstanding debut album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, and they enjoyed each other’s company.
Lil Flip and Lea’s timeless song “Sunshine” is sampled and rearranged in “Sunshine.”
